I believe there is nothing a strong cup of coffee and some good music and a book cannot fix!

Believe it or not, photography was not always my forever job! I know, hard to believe. I aspired to become a Nurse/Flight Medic. I live in a small county just an hour shy of DC with My Husband Kenneth and our 3 beautiful girls.

I have spent the last 3 years pouring my whole heart into my business! When I am behind the camera I feel so free! I believe in real moments and chasing sunsets.

I began capturing images at the age of 20. I took a small hiatus after myself and my husband wed. Shortly after our second sweet girl I pick back up my camera and have never put it down! Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful and emotional images that you can cherish for a lifetime!

I cannot wait to create your beautiful story together!

I'm Katlyn

I was born and raised in a water town! But growing up with a redheaded parent and a mom who has a strong dislike for sand  meant we did not venture to the beach much! Once I met my husband I found the part that had been missing we started taking yearly trips to the beach. Just sitting on the beach with a good book listening to the waves crash is truly the most relaxing thing ever. Now that we have 3 kiddos we absolutely love to create new memories with them at the beach! Our Girls are water babies for sure!

Life takes you down many paths but my favorite ones lead to the beach.”

Katlyn is a awesome photographer and a delight to be around. My husband and I have had a mini session and our entire wedding captured by her. Let me tell you, I will never book another photographer. It has to be Katlyn!! Our pictures are absolutely beautiful! She is very professional and also makes you feel as if you have known her for years. Very personable, kind, and she does the dang thing!

If I had to describe my business in three words:

When I was in elementary school my grandfather used to have  polaroid and film cameras that every time I went to his house; I would take a million polaroids.  Then I would take them home and show my mom. Funny thing is those are some of the only things I have left. Unfortunately he passed from a surgical complication. Without those I would not get to look back and cherish those special times.

It's so important to capture those moments because we never know if it will be a first or a last.

It all began with a polaroid camera
